The Luxembourg Wurst
John-Paul Gomez is the creator of the well-known satirical news website the Luxembourg Wurst, which he launched in 2017 after collecting ideas in a little pocket in his brain for 10 years. The nearly one thousand pieces Gomez has published since then poke fun at the Grand Duchy and its inhabitants – expats, long-time residents, and natives alike. Since 2018, the Wurst has been a weekly feature on RTL Today.

Wurst News is an animated news series produced by Fireflies under the direction of creative duo Jacopo and Barbara Armani with Valère Lommel leading the animation.
